Thomas F. Rukas

Tom is a musician, songwriter, and novelist, residing in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. His novels can all be considered Supernatural Mysteries are usually written in the setting of Bucks County and the surrounding areas using landmarks such as Ringing Rocks Park, Lake Galena, Lake Nockamixon, and the Delaware River areas. He also includes settings in the areas from Philadelphia to the deserts and mountains of Arizona and Alaska. His stories are fiction, mysteries involving adventure, fantasy, horror, (more than occasionally with a comical edge) suspense, and romance. All novels are written with characters showing growth, maturing through their obstacles, and also featuring very strong female characters portraying naturally instinctive leadership qualities, something he had learned through the female friends and acquaintances in his life.

        Although he took writing courses in high school, it was his experiences with traveling around the country, working in management of a corporation, taking courses in creative writing between weekly management reports, along with running his own construction business that has, through many years, taught him the self-discipline needed for writing and organizing. At the same time, it all nourished Tom in honing his skills in writing music, lyrics, and eventually short stories, ultimately leading to the present twelve recently self-published novels, all receiving great reviews. 

        Along with some poetry, He’s also produced and recorded three albums containing some of his original compositions. He enjoys music, recently as a bassist in a classic rock band for leisure, but he found that his creativity of writing novels has completed his cycle of passion.
